Enter the online Dragon as show switches to TV screen

ENTREPRENEUR Shaf Rasul is to appear on BBC2 with his formerly 'online-only' version of Dragons Den.

The hit internet show, which has been available on the web since March, features Edinburgh-based Mr Rasul, who made his millions in property and computers, and Julie Meyer as 'Dragons' looking to invest £50,000 in budding entrepreneurs.

The spin off from the BBC television hit is scheduled to hit television screens in the summer. Mr Rasul said: "The programme is being transferred to television but the online version will be extended with exclusive features."

And there may be a new series to follow.

"It has been an absolutely incredible experience so far being part of the show alongside Julie and the BBC and being able to meet a number of talented people with bright and creative business ideas," Mr Rasul added.
